BLS/CPR
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) is an eight-hour class on Basic Life support being taught by a certified BLS instructor with the American Heart Association. Classes are held once a week.
BLS is the level of medical care which is used to help someone with life-threatening illnesses or injuries until the patient can be given full medical care. Basic life support techniques are aimed at the maintenance of the ABCs---airway, breathing and circulation. Your actions clear the airway so gases can pass into the lungs, inflate and deflate the lungs and provide blood to the body to improve circulation. Instruction is in English Language only.
